Joseph A. Nutt, 93, of Melbourne died Sunday, 5/4/2014. A native of Columbus, New Jersey he came to the Melbourne area from Port St. Lucie in 2013. Joseph had been a diesel mechanic and was a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Marine, Joseph was a member of the 4th Marine Division and had served in the Pacific Arena during W.W. II. Joseph A. Nutt, 93, of Melbourne died Sunday, 5/4/2014. A native of Columbus, New Jersey he came to the Melbourne area from Port St. Lucie in 2013. Joseph had been a diesel mechanic and was a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Marine, Joseph was a member of the 4th Marine Division and had served in the Pacific Arena during W.W. II. He was a classic car enthusiast and owned a 1963 Buick Riviera. He also enjoyed fishing, boating and wood carving. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #2658, the Woodcarving Club, Classic Car Club, and the Anglers Club all in Port St. Lucie.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Dorothy; sons: William (Janice) of Indialantic, Joseph, Jr. (Nastia) of Moscow, Russia; daughters Mary (Richard) Bentz of Manteo, NC, Patricia (Barry) Weiss of Coral Springs, Carol of Bordentown, NJ, Janice (Paul) Butchko of Jacobstown, NJ; sister: Doris McDonald of Columbus, NJ; and ten grandchildren.
