Rita Marie Dziubinski, 67, passed away on September 11, 2017, at Palm Bay Hospital. She was born to Geraldine and Edward J. Bauer on July 8, 1950 in Kankakee, Illinois. She grew up in Chebanse, Illinois. Upon completion of high school at Central High School, in June 1969, she joined the Women's Army Corps, where she started her lifelong career in paraprofessional medicine and met her soon to be husband, Bob Dziubinski. Bob and Rita were married in December 1969. Bob stayed in the Military for near 22 years and Rita stayed by his side guiding the family through numerous household moves including two foreign countries, Brussels, Belgium and Landsthul, Germany, finally settling in Palm Bay, Florida in 1988. She was blessed with two boys, David and Eric.

Throughout her travels, she continued her interest in medicine, working as a CNA and secretary at nursing homes and various Military Medical facilities. She worked at Sebastian River Medical Center for some 17 years until a shoulder injury forced her into medical retirement in 2009.

Rita had a love for plants and gardening. It was often said that she could make an ice cream stick grow. When she wasn't in the yard with her plants, she could be found deep into a mystery novel or watching 'oldies' movies.

Her parents, older brother Jimmy, and her very close brother-in-law Paul Foley predeceased her.

Rita leaves behind her husband of almost 48 years, Bob Dziubinski of Palm Bay, Florida; her oldest son and daughter-in-law David and Audrey Dziubinski of San Diego, California; her younger son Eric Dziubinski of Palm Bay, Florida; and her sister Barb Foley of Campus, Illinois.

She will be remembered for her bright friendly smile and her love for animals, especially German Sheppard dogs. Rita and Bob had four over the years.
Rita will be sorely missed by all who had the good fortune to meet her.

In keeping with her final wishes, no civil or religious ceremony will be held, however, a small 'celebration of life' gathering may be held at a later date.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Animal Humane Society.
