Ronald Neal Sprenkle of Youngsville, N.C. formally of Melbourne, Fl passed away 8/5/2017 at Hillcrest Rehab at Crabtree Valley in Raleigh, N.C. He was born in York, Pa on 2/12/1933. Ron proudly served in the United States Navy 1949-1953 during the Korean Conflict. He retired from AT&T in 1986. Ron was an active member of Trinity Bible Church until his COPD would not allow him to get around. After retirement he enjoyed caning, rush, and splint chairs as well as doing stained glass. He enjoyed showing and working on cars as well as his 1933...

He was preceded in death by his parents Percy E. and Mary C. Sprenkle and his brother Gordon Eugene Sprenkle. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Alta R. Sprenkle, his sister Jane E. Cook of Apex, NC; daughter Terri L. (Frank) Weaver of Melbourne, Gene Sprenkle of Melbourne, David A. (Debra) Sprenkle Frederick, De, Chris D. (Dodie) Sprenkle of Ijamsville, Md, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
